A man died after he left a child in a car on Interstate 5 and got into a collision with another car, officials said Friday.
The crash happened about 6 p.m.
Friday in the 3700 block of Interstate 5 near the South Platte River, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The boy was in the back seat of the car.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 33-year-old man, was not injured.
He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, the Montana Department of Transportation said.
